Welcome to Bauma 2025

Press Release Bauma 2025
10/02/2025

VTN Europe is excited to participate in BAUMA 2025, the world’s premier trade fair for construction machinery, where it will showcase its latest innovations in demolition and earthmoving equipment. With over 50 years of engineering expertise, the company continues to push industry standards, offering high-performance excavator attachments designed for efficiency, durability, and sustainability.

At Hall B5, Stand 413, visitors will get an exclusive look at the FP20, the evolution of the iconic FP18. This upgraded model features significant improvements in design and technology, delivering higher performance, greater durability, and enhanced operational precision. The first prototype will be unveiled at BAUMA and is set for release in Q4 2025.

Another highlight is the VTN-SC, a powerful Multi-Kit attachment with interchangeable jaws that allows for crushing, cutting, and shearing materials directly on-site, reducing downtime and maximizing productivity.

The VTN-CI scrap shear is designed for high-performance cutting and processing of metal materials and scrap. Equipped with an optimized rotation system and enhanced cutting force, it enables fast and safe operations, streamlining the recycling process and metal material management.
The VTN-FB Crusher Bucket will demonstrate its robust capability to reduce materials directly on-site, transforming demolition debris into reusable aggregates and improving operational efficiency.

For those in the recycling industry, the VTN-VD vehicle dismantler provides an innovative solution for efficiently recovering high-value materials from end-of-life vehicles. Unlike traditional dismantling methods that are labor-intensive and costly, this series features a slim and compact design, allowing for precise separation of components even in confined spaces, making the recycling process more efficient and sustainable.

As the highlight of this edition of Bauma, VTN will showcase a 12-ton primary demolition crusher, the VTN-PD120. We won’t reveal too many details about it here, but we look forward to seeing you at Bauma to experience it in person.

BAUMA 2025 is the perfect opportunity to explore VTN Europe’s latest advancements, connect with industry experts, and discover customized solutions for various construction needs.

50th Anniversary Event

VTN Europe – June 24th 2023 – 50th Anniversary Event.

50 years of activity for a company is an important milestone that VTN Europe celebrated on June 24th at their premises in Sovizzo and Villa Curti.

50esimo anniversario di VTN Europe

It was a day of celebration for the owners, numerous employees, collaborators, clients, suppliers, and officials who attended the event.

This anniversary is a source of pride for our territory and its economic fabric, providing prosperity, jobs, and a focus on social welfare and collaboration with institutions. Congratulations to Doris Lunardi Vaccaro, her children Matteo, Elisa, and Antonio, and all their collaborators, with a special thought for Nerio, the founder of VTN.

At the Company

A warm day in late June welcomed the many guests to VTN’s 50th-anniversary celebration, which started in the main plant in Cagnano di Pojana Maggiore, specially set up as an auditorium for the occasion. It was a gathering for employees, Italian and foreign suppliers, and clients who constitute the fabric of this company founded by Nerio Vaccaro (who passed away prematurely in 2011) and carried on by his wife Doris Lunardi and their children Elisa, Matteo, and Antonio. Among the attending officials were regional councilor Marco Zecchinato, who presented a recognition from the Veneto Region to Mrs. Doris, as well as the mayors of Noventa, Mattia Veronese, and Pojana, Paola Fortuna, and Luca Zoppelletto, President of the Eastern-Vicentine group of Vicenza Confindustria Association, who highlighted that “50% of the industries in Vicenza are in the metalworking sector.”

The event began with a letter from the President of Veneto Region, Luca Zaia, congratulating them on reaching this milestone. Doris Lunardi and the CEO Giancarlo Favaro then took the floor, retracing the history of VTN, with its successes, experiments, and challenging moments, always believing in their reality and those who work there. Paola Fortuna, also a teacher at ITC Masotto in Noventa, recalled how VTN was among the first companies to believe in the early experiments of school-work alternation, concluding with a touching memory of Nerio Vaccaro by Mattia Veronese: “Remember that I started from a garage.”

The Factory Tour

Facilities guided tours divided into different groups of people were led by VTN Employees later in the afternoon.

The staff explained the various stages of production to the audience. Everything was properly showcased, from order arrivals to initial processing, welding, finishing, painting, warehousing, and equipment repair; all of this in a series of clean and orderly environments.

The Celebration at Villa Curti

The festivities continued in the evening with a dinner at the 16th-century Villa Curti in Sovizzo, where guests were welcomed by stilt walkers and whimsically costumed performers, as well as an all-female string quartet, which entertained with classical repertoire. Preceded by a buffet in the villa’s park, the dinner took place under the arches with over 200 people.

The cutting of the cake marked the end of the dinner, preceded by thanks from Doris Lunardi and her family, and accompanied by an evocative video that retraced the company’s history, reaffirming the motto “Thinking out of the box.”

The celebration concluded with a performance by professional dancers to the tune of “Nessun dorma” from Turandot, followed by fireworks and a DJ set that kept the guests dancing until the late hours.

VTN presents a NEW product at the SAMOTER 2023 in Verona

On the occasion of the Salone Internazionale Macchine Movimento Terra, Samoter, held from 3 to 7 May in Verona, VTN exhibited a new series of Multi Kit.

The SC series

At the VTN stand of the Salone del Movimento Terra in Verona visitors were able to admire, in addition to historical products such as the FP18 rotary crusher and the CI5000R shears of the CI-Revolution and other series, also two new products: SC 140 and SC 180.

The SC is a Multiprocessor that can tackle all types of demolition, from Primary to Secondary and Selective (Strip out).

It consists of a main body equipped with two cylinders to which different types of jaws can be fitted for the most diverse demolition activities, crushing, cutting, and recycling of concrete and steel structures and artefacts.

The SC’s versatility allows it to work on different types of materials, from the least resistant to the more tenacious, ensuring the maximum efficiency in terms of operation and working time.

Its technology helps to reduce the environmental impact and increase the overall productivity of demolition operations. With the VTN SC, operators can work with greater safety, precision, and flexibility, reducing the use of auxiliary equipment.

VTN celebrates 50 years of activity

This year, VTN will be celebrating a significant milestone: 50 years of activity in the world of earthmoving and demolition equipment. VTN in 2023 is a solid company, projected towards the challenges of the future. A well-established reality in Italy, with commercial branches on all five continents. A company at the forefront of mechanical design, with an important and efficient technical and design office that uses the most sophisticated tools for design, analysis and prototyping. Similarly, the workshop is equipped with a laboratory and a mechanical processing department that is constantly updated with the most advanced machinery for turning, milling, and all machining to the tenth and hundredth of a millimeter. Solutions to speed up and automate production processes and achieve greater precision during assembly.

It all began 50 years ago, on March 20, 1973, thanks to the co-founders of VTN, Nerio Vaccaro and Doris Lunardi, who created a company in which, to use the words of current President Doris Lunardi, “quality, honesty, and a different way of working from the standards of a multinational corporation are recognized. A reality in which everyone puts in their effort to achieve a single result.” A story that has benefited from the essential contribution of Nerio Vaccaro, the authentic inspiration behind VTN, who unfortunately passed away too soon but left behind an important legacy.

“If his genius is difficult to imitate,” say Nerio’s children, “we want to continue his attention to the human aspect and his willingness to create excellent products, doing our best without settling for less.”

Happy Birthday VTN.
